Eating Healthier

Saving for retirement is almost as important as eating breakfast. Fueling our body right is something we all know should be a top priority, yet many of us fail to make it happen. Study after study proves that people who make time for an early meal are much more likely to maintain a healthy body weight. Eating breakfast can increase focus, energy levels and improve how we feel about ourselves.

There are some breakfast ideas that are simple, nutritious and delicious. One option is the morning breakfast pie. You take a piece of toasted bread (preferably whole grain), peanut butter (almond butter an even healthier choice) and sliced fresh fruit (for example apples, strawberries or blue berries). This breakfast gives you all the elements your body needs to start your day right, carbohydrates for energy, fiber, protein, heart healthy fats, vitamins, and a little bit of sweetness. It takes less than 2 minutes to create and will help you out for the rest of the day.
